The first thing we do in any kitchen is open a lower cabinet and look at the box. If the sides are solid plywood or particleboard that is still square and dry, the cabinets have a future. If the bottom is sagging, the sides are swollen from a past leak, or the face frame is pulling away, no finish is going to save them.
Refinishing is the right call when you like the door style and the layout, and the only problem is the color or the wear. The doors and drawers come to our shop, get sanded, filled, primed, and sprayed with a catalyzed finish, and the boxes are masked and sprayed on site. It is the fastest and least expensive route to a kitchen that looks new.
Refacing makes sense when the boxes are solid but the doors are dated, damaged, or a style you simply do not like. We build new doors and drawer fronts in your chosen profile and finish, veneer or paint the exposed boxes to match, and upgrade the hinges and glides. You get a new-looking kitchen in days, with no demolition and no wait for a full build.
Replacement is for kitchens where the layout is the problem: a corner you cannot reach, uppers that stop a foot below the ceiling, no pantry, no drawers. Custom cabinets let us redraw the room around how you actually cook and store, and build the boxes to fit the walls instead of filling gaps with spacers.
On a free visit we tell you which category you are in and quote the option that fits. Sometimes the honest answer is the cheapest one, and we would rather earn a returning customer than oversell a kitchen.
